I have been waiting for the perfect time to wear this little, red, puffy jacket. I bought it the day before my Birthday at a little vintage shop on the “Ave” in the U. District. It has delicate little ruffles all along the edges and is made from a shiny nylon material. The shoulders are puffed up a bit on top and there are no buttons or zippers up the front. I added a belt (I got for $2 this weekend at a thrift store), a skirt from back in the archives, and an american apparel onesie for warmth. Stir it all together for a perfect Monday outfit :)
The following photos are from a blog that I have been looking at daily for awhile now. It’s called Face Hunter, and I must tell you I really enjoy it. The photos are clear and to the point, not overly photo shopped or messed with. That way you can really see the cute outfits. All the ladies are adorable, and I have been getting a lot of inspiration for this site lately. The address is facehunter.blogspot.com. You should all check it out! These photos are just some of the ladies I like the best :)
Lately I have been seeing a lot of posts of tops with large dramatic shoulder pieces. Fringe, sharp angles, or soft looking puffs. I basically love them all. However I do feel that this look can only be pulled off by certain body types. Needless to say these ladies have the bodies and are working this look. So hats off ladies and Xoxo!
I have always hated hearing the words socks and sandals in the same sentence. I mean really, it is never good. Until now! For a cozy winter warm up I wore leggings, red socks, an old dress, the biggest scarf in the universe, and 5” platform sandals. I pulled those socks over the leggings and figured, what the hell? So on went the sandals, and I have to say I kind of liked it. Plus when you put me in 5” heels that brings me to a staggering 6’4” and at that height I can pretty much do whatever I want, so I did!
Sorry it has been a bit since I posted, I went to Vancouver BC this weekend for a pals birthday celebration. It was really fun and I wish we had had more time to shop since there were some beautiful stores. But alas we were only there for a short time. Maybe next time…..
I love these pants!!!!!!! From what I can tell they are made of leather or PVC with grommets and laces up the front side. However even if I go them I don’t think I could wear them. In my opinion you may only wear these if you wear a size 4 or below. I am not saying this to be rude. The fact is some clothes are flattering on some people and some aren’t. Everyone must wear what looks good on their own body, no matter what size they are. And I am smart enough to know that my booty will not fit in these babies, even though I love them!
If I get to go on a warm weather vaca this winter season this is what I want, the black shorts. I’m not really sure what is going on here but I really am loving this whole black outfit. I think I need to see it in real life to be sure, but from where I sit that outfit is really beautiful.
These are some photos of Queen Michelle from the blog “Kingdom of Style.” She is just so cute it’s unbelievable. I wish that I could see what her closet looks like. I bet it’s a whole room of clothes! These are a few of her latest pictures. If you haven’t checked out “Kingdom of Style,” you really should.
How on earth do people pull this much oversized fabric off? I see others are wondering too. I mean every time I try something like this my boyf tells me I look homeless. And that’s not in a good way. I mean really I’m very tall so you would think that would stretch the look out a bit but no. Help!
