Spring Cleaning, kind of.....
So this week and the past couple weeks have been a bit though on the old pocket book. So I had to be a little inventive coming up with some dollars. First I rolled all my change, old school I know, next I went through my closet looking for clothes to sell. I used to do this all the time when I was tight on cash but sold too many things I regretted so had stopped for a while. But though times call...

Dark nights
In the most recent Teen Vogue I came across a fashion spread that really lit my heart up. It was supposed to aimed at teens about to go to prom but I, of course, think these outfits would work for any night on the town. All the outfits have a really dark sexy vibe without being too bare. The veils of black netting are one of my favorite parts and I am currently trying to figure out how to wear a...
Stud city
Today at work I saw a pair of pants that right away I knew I had to have. In fact I wanted to steal them right off my little pal, who I call, Bots. The pants have a skinny fit, zippers, some carefully placed studs, and are made by Cheap Monday. They are cute as a button! Cheap Monday has been one of my favorite brands since the first time I shimmied into a pair. Cheap Monday’s are the best...
Just another Sunday
You know it is a relaxing Sunday when you have taken 3 naps before 8 pm. What can I say I get sleepy sometimes. On days like this you must throw on whatever clothes are on the floor and go to the video store. These clothes happen to be shades, a graphic tee, and a scarf from one of my favorite stores called Moksha. The outfit was obviously not super exciting and I probably should not have...
Earth Day!
Although in the past I haven’t done anything worth noting for Earth Day, this year I attended an event. My partner at work got us signed up and organized to help an organization called Earth Corp. We went to a large park in Seattle, called Magneson Park, that used to be a military base of sorts. We spent 4 hours tearing out ivy and blackberry bushed that are not native to the Northwest....
Birthday time
Tonight is my Boyf’s Brothers Birthday. So we will all be heading out for a cocktail. Not too late for me as I must wake up in the early morning for the work. But since it is a birthday and it was quite nice out for a change, a floral pattern was a must. Plus a thick waist belt and a vintage bag and I’m on my way!
*Save some money note: For basic black tights go to the drug store...
Fashion show recap
I just want to take a quick second to recap some other information about the Seattle Fashion Week show that I attended on Friday. The show took place in a large warehouse space called Freemont Studios. It is (of course) located in the Freemont neighborhood of Seattle down near the water where the Sunday farmers market takes place. The inside of the studio is very spacious and perfect for a fashion...

Seattle Fashion Week
Last night I went to a Seattle Fashion Week show. I really didn’t even know we had a fashion week in Seattle. But I was fairly impressed with the show and even with the designs. The models all had big puff hair dos that I really liked and the clothes were actually really cool. These are some of the pictures I was able to get, sorry it is kind of hard to see.
A bit inaprop
As I’m sure you can tell I have been very into this lace legs situation. Today, was no exception, I went with sassy and black leggings. I added my fave short knit shorties and an aggressive men’s tee and I had myself an outfit. I also had to wear a hoodie for most of the day since the back room at my work is like an icebox. The temp in the back room is not the point, however, the point is my men’s...
Netflix you have ruined my afternoon, really only...
My good friend Squilicia and I had a perfect afternoon planned. But netflix did not deliver the other end of the plan, a little movie called “Singles.” It has recently been written up in Teen Vogue and Nylon as inspiration for current outfitting trends. Plus it was filmed in Seattle and the fact that I have never seen it was getting to be a little ridiculous. So the plan was that when...
My New Fave Mag
Last Saturday the boyf and I went from a quick trip down to the market (the Pike Place Market.) I would usually avoid the market, on a Saturday, like the plague. Since it is “The” tourist spot in Seattle, on weekends it is fill with hundreds of people. All standing in my way staring with their mouths open like fish. So you can understand my surprise when the trip turned out to be a...
Cape Town
These are some pictures of my fast growing collection of capes. Although most people do not like or appreciate capes of any sort, I am not most people. I believe that capes are highly under rated. They can be so cute and warm at the same time. The only catch is that they should be worn with a tighter bottom piece. If you try to pull it off with a larger bottom piece you might end up looking like a...
