These photos are from the Marc Jacobs fall 2009 ready to wear collection. I love these designs because they are a bit on the punk side with a very refined touch as well. The bright colors also make these designs very appealing. So if I could just have one of each of these pieces that would be great.
This is the flyer for my Boyfs art show. It’s next weekend in Portland, come one come all. You can get more details at executionarts.com click on the productions link for more info. You can also get to all the artists sites from that site. Check it out!
This weekend we had a birthday celebration for my Boyf at the bar where his brother works. I wore a backless black dress that is made of a light knit fabric. On my feet I wore my wrap around grey boots, since I knew we would be walking and I wanted to be comfortable. To top off the look I needed a coat. It is starting to get cold but it hasn’t started raining 24/7 just yet. So it was time to pull out a fur coat from the collection. A tan rabbit fur coat with gem studded trim. It is the only fur coat I have that isn’t vintage, but I do love it. So out it came from the closet to the streets for only the second time since I’ve owned it.
I love tough girls! The way they carry themselves, the hard looks they give, and the clothes. The clothes are of course the best part. All that fabric just layered on, hanging from their thin frames. Some girls try to be this way and others just are. So to all you tough as nails ladies, I admire and love you ;)
I just wanted to give you all a heads up about my bof’s upcoming art show. I will be posting a flyer for it in the next couple days. The show is Saturday October 3, 2009 in Portland, Oregon. My boyf will be showing his abstract paintings along with 3 other painters. A bar with ID and music from FTRSNZ out of Cali, and 2 local DJ’s. We are going to have a fab time and would love everyone to come :)
I would love to be able to do my hair like this. I have finally grown it long enough that this sort of a situation is possible. However I have very little skill when it comes to dealing with my own hair. I try and try but all I come up with are hair don’ts. This in turn makes me secretly hate people who’s hair is always behaving. Sorry but it’s true. If someone would teach me to do this I’m sure I would be able to settle down at bit.
Last night I was getting ready to go out with my little sis, her boyf, and my boyf. As I chose my outfit I realized it was the perfect day to wear my new “Club Monaco” jacket. It is a beautiful jacket I found at Buffalo Exchange for only $22! The arm holes are bubble hemmed and there is a slight sheen to the jacket. I am absolutely in love with it! Plus I needed to cover up just a little bit. I also threw on these ankle boots I just got at Target of all places. But I later changed into black heels to make my legs look longer.
I am just about to head out the door to go to Idaho for 2 days. But I will return hopefully with some pics. Xoxo
As I browsed through some of my fave fashion blogs today I couldn’t resist sharing these babies with you all. I found the photos and the write up on “Kingdom of Style” and the chains are made by A(r)mor. Can I just say, amazing! I love them! I wear so many chains and gems on the daily that the people at the airport actually laugh at me. These would make a perfect addition to my collection
Sometimes I look at these beautiful photo shoots and wish people dressed like that in real life. Wild hair, painted faces, lace, feathers, well you get the picture. I think the world would be so much more interesting if we all just dressed a little more like these beautiful photo shoots. Like a costume party that never ended. Wish, wish, wish…..
