Jupiter Eyes

I just got a new ring to add to my collection! I wear about 10 rings every day, every day the same ones. I do not introduce new ones into the rotation unless I find the perfect one. On Valentines day I got a new snake one (not in photo) and less than 2 weeks later I have another :) It’s the triple finger ring in the photo. It sits on my right hand with 2 rings that sit on top of it on my right ring finger. The only down side is that I had to retire one of my old moon stone rings :( But I guess sometimes you have to loose some to gain some.

This lady has a color of hair that I really have been lusting after. I have been dying my hair black for the last 5 years or so, before that I had cherry bomb red locks. Recently I have started the difficult task of getting the black out and going back to red. Currently my head looks like it has been dip died, the top is red but my freaking ends are still black even after hours at salons! Yet people keep saying they like it. Weird I know. At least now I have a photo to reference.

Sometimes i forget why I fell in love with fashion in the first place. When this happens my days are long and dull. Thankfully, I am usually able to come full circle to awakening with a new appreciation and love for the beauty of clothes and what they mean in my day to day. Beautifully designed clothes, hand died fabric, carefully stitched garments that allow us to be anything. You can be a character from a story, a feeling, a smell, or even a season. This ability to change every morning when i wake up depending on my ever changing moods, is why i fell in love those many years ago……..

With Spring fast approaching, I am reminded of what Spring itself is all about. Dew on early morning grass. The air smells clean and fresh. White linens hanging in the yard. A fresh start for everything and everyone. Here are a few photos that are getting me in that state of mind currently.

On Friday I had to bring a lot of stuff to work. Books, computer, lunch, and various other items. This is a lot to be carrying around and to avoid looking like a crazy bag lady I had to break out my old army back pack. It does make me look a little like a child but sometimes you just have to. I also bought a new pair of sunglasses because for the first time in a long time it is nothing but blue skies here in the Pacific Northwest for days on end. Lucky us :)

It has been a very busy week for yours truly, so I would like to say sorry for my lack of posts. I had almost 2 emotional breakdowns and some other life turmoil, but I am feeling better and ready to change some things. Yesterday the boyf and I went to a farmers market and then to the old Pike Place market. We had such a grand time and I even got a tan members only jacket for only $15 dollars. Plus the boyf got a brown leather jacket for $25, he looks so cute. We also got some amazing produce. And to top things off I got to wear a new lace skirt, yay!

There are just some days when I would rather be anywhere or anyone but me. Today is one of those glorious days. So here are some photos of places and people I would rather be today…… Sorry to be a downer but some things can’t be helped.

So after much debating I found the perfect top to wear for my V-day with the boyf. It’s not especially flashy or frilly but it made me feel comfortable and girly. I bought a size large so it would hang lower. I wore black ankle boots, black fake leather leggings, and a black blazer. We had a beautiful day downtown at the market and then came home to watch movies and have together time. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend with your loved ones :)

It is freezing everywhere and that means the fur comes out of the wood work. Being a huge fur fan myself, I can say there isn’t a fabric in the world that keeps you warm like fur does. These ladies have the right idea and are simply rocking it out. I love it!!!!!
