I think I may have mentioned it before but my friend Squill and I like to collect pretend friends. What I mean by this is when we see people with great style or that we just think are really cute we say they are our pretend friends that don’t know it yet. We like to say we are collecting them and on occasion we have made some of these people into real friends. I saw this photo on thesartorialist.blogspot.com today and yelped! These 2 ladies are on my pretend friend list for sure :)
I’m so excited, in just a few short hours I will be on the eastern side of the state and the boyf’s mothers house. A beautiful log cabin mansion that over looks fields :) I will be trying to take some photos to post and I am bringing my computer but I’m not sure there is wifi. Down below the house is stables for the hundreds of Alpacas :) Before I leave I would like to do some quick reblogging of my favorite images for the day….. Enjoy :)
Daria Werbowy did a partially nude photo shoot for the Dossier Journal’s spring issue. The photo’s can be found on fashiongonerogue.com which is exactly where I got these. Daria is absolutely stunning and looks even better half dressed. Plus the shoot took place in her NYC loft which is breathe taking. I wish I lived in a loft like that!!!!
Once again Queen Michelle from Kingdom of Style has wowed me. The robe she is wearing in this photo is absolutely amazing. I must, must, must have it!!!! Or I would settle for something close ;) The fringe is the part that I am most excited about. The fact that it is sheer only sweetens the deal, making it perfect for any time of year. If you haven’t checked out Kingdomofstyle.typepad.co.uk you should, both of the bloggers on this site are wonderful :)
I am sad to say I did not go to Coachella this year. I have been seeing everyones photos online and it is making me quite jealous. It seem like this music festival was quite the fashion scene. Even teenvogue.com had pics of their top 12 outfits posted. Here are my top 4 faves of their top 12. It looks like everyone is having such a nice time I hope this is the truth :)
The only thing that can get me out of bed at 6 am on a Sunday is the opening of a new designer line at Target. Today, Zac Posen opened, naturally Squill and I were waiting at the doors for them to open with the rest of the crazy people. Over all there were only a few items I really loved. One was the red leather and suede jacket but $200 was more than I was willing to pay. The second was the frilly red dress that everyone is after at a price point of $80. After strolling around the store for and hour and a half I decided on neither which for mw is a very big deal. I never say no to clothes, but I have a good feeling I will be able to find those items at a cheaper price later on. Instead I got this studded swim suit for only $14 a piece! As for what I wore to this early morning adventure. I officially wore sweat pants outside. Do not be too grossed out, I believe the only sweat pants allowed to be worn out of the house are ones that have more of a harem pant cut. Thus these H&M sweats were just the ticket. Add a Scorpions muscle tee, grey hoodie, leather jacket, wedge peep toe boots, and stripe socks and boom you have an early Sunday morning outfit.
As I have been browsing today there have been so many fun head gems in all the photos I just had to collect some. All these beautiful head adornments are just too perfect to pass up. It just makes me want to layer all the feathers, studs, scarves, and gems that I own onto my head and waltz around my home :)
