As it gets warmer (supposedly) instead of wanted to wear bright clothes I’m feeling like black is the color to wear. All these photos are not helping this feeling. But sometimes I don’t want to be right. All black might be my new fave summer outfit choice. Here are some photos to help the visual….
This weekend has been pretty eventful, all things considered. One of my fave parts about this weekend has to be that I got to wear my red acid wash jeggings! Sounds gross but they are sooooo good. In addition it is finally warm enough for me to start wearing shoes that expose my feet. I have weird feelings about feet in general so conditions have to be just right. Hope everyone out there in the interweb world is having a nice weekend as well :)
I have realized the only time I actually wear clothes from the “Never Been Worn” bags is when I pick out mu outfits the night before. At 4:30 am when I get up for work I never, never, never pick out anything cute to wear. I think that early in the morning I just don’t have the energy to care so I put on whatever will feel the most like p.j.’s. It’s sad but true. But last night I picked out a leopard print blazer that I got in Vancouver a couple of months ago and thought, tomorrow will be the day! So here it is, I wore it with a pair of Levi’s cut offs that have gems attached to them, a white tank, and my trusty cowboy boots that I have been wearing for last 6 years. All in all comfortable ;)
As I have said several times, I have been moving. It has taken almost 2 and a half weeks but we are finally finishing up. Every time I get home from work I spending my whole evening unpacking or rearranging, and I’m not going to lie, I am burnt out. I have had very little if any time to blog or browse blogs. So now that I have a few seconds I would like to share some photos that are making me feel good today :)
This is the most magnificent outfit I have ever seen! It is absolutely beautiful. I feel, however, that if anyone in my area wore this out and about it would cause a huge stir. Out at night in certain areas it might go over ok but for the most part people would not be happy about it. That fact makes me a little sad because it is a work of art that deserves to be appreciated. People need to open their minds.
I am supposed to be on a buying freeze for my clothes shopping addiction. After moving in to the new place it has become obvious to multiple people that I have a rather large amount of clothes. They say it’s a “problem” I say it’s necessary. So the freeze is on, for a little while at least ;) But top secret, if I knew where to find this dress I wouldn’t be able to stop myself from buying it!
I am finally back online!!!!!!! I was moving homes all weekend long and had no interweb, now after a brief convo with some IT guys I’m connected. Thank the lord! As soon as I got back on I went flying around checking blogs and I think I found some amazing stuff. After hauling all my junk around all weekend it occurred to me that maybe I should just buy accessories since they are much lighter to move. Here are some of my new faves :)
I was taking a break from all this packing madness, that has become my life, and browsing blogs as a way to relax. I clicked on my fave blog www.kingdomofstyle.typepad.co.uk and surprise some of the most beautiful pics I have seen in a long time. One of the Queens got the photos from a flickr account belonging to a lady named Lissy Elle. I couldn’t agree with the Queens more, these are some of the most soft, relaxing, beautiful photos I have every seen. So here is a little taste of what this talented lady has to offer.
I think I need to start making a list of all the DIY projects I would like to do. I see something cool and figure I can make it myself and then forget what is was that I was going to make when I find something new. So I thought I might start blogging the projects so I won’t forget them. This belt I found on stockholmstreetstlye.com. It’s so cute and doesn’t look that hard to make. After I move it will be my first project.
