Somethings I like to pull all my clothes off their rolling racks and then put them back on the racks. This may make me sound like a mad woman but there is a method to my madness. As I put all the clothes back it helps remind me of what all I have and reminds me to wear them. This little exercise is how I found this red strapless dress. I bought it a million years ago, I just couldn’t resist the red pattern. But today I decided that it can also work as a skirt. Double duty, success!!!!!
Right now I am wishing it was next year. Why???? Because then I could be wearing all of these beauties. Not that I could really afford them but whatever. Wish, wish, wish and maybe it will happen :) And a big thanks to www.bohemianpunk.tumblr.com for posting them, absolutely inspiring….
As I have spoke of in the past, I have bags of clothes with tags still on them waiting for the perfect day to throw them into the rotation. I am happy to announce that bags, plural, has turned into just one bag. This is happy because the whole fact that i buy stuff like a mad woman may or may not be unhealthy. These following photos are some of my fave new buys. The French Connection denim dress I actually traded for when I was selling clothes last at Buffalo Exchange. The cream top I got at Forever21, I was pleasantly surprised. And the turban style head band and round glasses I bought at work. I have already worn the dress and will be working the others in ASAP :)
During my obsession with long skirts I have also developed a love for floral pints. So it seems all too perfect that I found this photo today that combines both! I love and also really, really, really want this skirt! I found this photo on www.hoyfashion.co.uk it’s a very cute blog and it you haven’t seen it before you should check it out!
A couple of days ago my little pet Sue-Bot Jr. showed me a new fashion blog. I am now in love!!!!!!!! The girl who writes this blog is only the cutest thing I have ever seen! She lives in Australia and posts not only photos of cute clothes but also adorable animals :) The blog I am gushing about it www.buffaloparade.blogspot.com. Thank you yet again Sue-Bot Jr. for showing me new and exciting things!!!!!! Also little Sue-Bot has started her own tumblr and I can’t wait to see what she has to post. You can check her out at www.sheetsandstains.tumblr.com.
As I have been browsing through my new stacks of magazines I realized something very exciting. All of the photo speads have models with their hair frizz out. Yay!!!!!! This is exciting for me because it seems that no matter what I do my hair is a crazy bird’s nest on top of my head. It is NEVER smooth and sleek. The fact that it is naturally curly might have something to do with this ;) After seeing all these beautiful models with frizzed hair it might be time for me to let go and let my hair follow it’s wild calling….. Just a thought.
This Saturday my pal Squill, her boyf, my boyf, and me all got together for so grilled dinner. We got to use the roof top deck at Squill and B-Rock’s new place and the view is absolutely beautiful! I wore my new/old cowboy boots for the occasion. I also broke out the tie-dyed corset that I have been waiting to wear for months. I also picked up some sweet tea vodka to make for a perfect evening. I heart my pals and feel lucky to spend time with them :)
